Me and a friend are just starting out and we were thinking of going to internext next year but werent sure if anyone would even give us the time of day because they were looking to stike big deals. I just didnt want to waste the money for nothing. Do you think it would be a waste to go?

attend the seminars during the day, learn something... thats key. meeting people after the show ends for the day will always happen if you are an outgoing person.Comment

Well, you've got to get your face and name out there somehow and conventions simply expedite the process. Unless you stand in a corner and say how shitty the show was.
Chances are you WON'T do much business at your first show. The main focus of your first show should be to meet and greet.
When people become more familiar with you, THEN the shows are a great place to do business.Comment
