A rumour I heard about google PR
Any new domain registered is put into a 3 month probationary period before the domain is givin a PR.
Anyone else hear this? By the way, I've been vacationing all summer so I'm a little of out of the loop :( |
I never heard about this..
never heard of that :)
Maybe its just taking 3 months to get your domains any PR :)

Havent heard that, maybe some SEO people could confirm or deny it for us
A better rumor would be that PR really stands for "Playin' 'Round" and now that they have a new cash flow they don't care if anyone finds out they sit around all day screwing with PRs and laughing their asses off while reading webmaster boards:glugglug

not true. Could be a new thing google pr hasn't updated in over a month :) so we wont know until tomorrow ( estimated pr update )
I assume you mean sandboxing, a process where Google supposedly temporarily "holds" a new link (that is not grandfathered in).
Maybe that explains a little bit the sand trap effect ...
