When he gets online we can go into the whole ingredient step by step...but i'll give the basics:

salad: cooked spinich with gold balsamic vinegar, pine nuts, orange, and some egg yolk

appetizer: broccoli wrapped with ham and turkey with a spicy hollandaise sauce on top

meal: mexican lasagna

dessert: ice dream with a pineapple compote

Actually, the spinach salad was topped with a golden basalmic vinagrette...and raisins are the magic ingredient....next time I won't fuck up Zoe ;-)

The brocolli marco polo (brocolli wrapped in turkey and ham) with hollandaise did indeed rock...second time in a row that I made hollandaise that didn't seperate or break...

the mexican lasagna rocked and was a huge success thanks to your assistance in the kitchen Zoe. (remember, the secret is the roasted seranos ;-))

The ice cream with warn pineapple compote and toasted pine nuts was an excellent capper to the meal indeed....hey, sometimes I impress even myself ;-))

Zoe, you forgot to mention that amazing Kabinett wine as well ;-)

A big shoutout to Forrest for recomending and selling me a case of it back in January.

Zoe, thanks for having me over as your cooking slave, you and Jeff were great company and I had a wonderful time.

the "secret" ingredient in my amazing Warm Spinach Salad ala Lance is raisins...and the other night I made it, my wife accidently bought white raisins and it actually improved the dish a little (white raisins are a little sweeter and don't have that hint of tartness)

when we were shopping for ingredients, I forgot the raisins...

they also would have pepped up the warm pineapple compote for the ice cream....

raisins are often my secret ingredient and even moreso in my warm spinach salad.....but the other night my wife bought white raisins instead of regular and they actually tasted better in the salad..well, when Zoe and I were shopping for ingredients, I forgot the raisins........
