How many webmasters are going to be closing their businesses due to the new 2257 requirements?

August 24th is when they stop taking comments, when it goes into effect is anyone's guess.

I'm betting that the proposal is revised a few times before it actually goes into law.

Never the less.. we are already prepared for the proposal just as it stands now, which is the worst it will be

There's no need to be afraid of this new law, things change all the time in any business, and the smart ones will roll with the punches.

Think of the benefits of this new law when it does finally come about, it's going to weed out a lot of pornographers who aren't willing to go to the trouble of keeping their content in order. The ones that survive are going to do very well.

I agree, this law is great.

There is too much free porn on the net, this law will reduce it.

And many of the illegal content providers are going to be out of business.
