What music do you program to, if any? I've tried all, but I can really only be gun-ho bout projects n stuff if I'm bumping to trance/techno. What makes your head go thump? :P

My roomate in college was a programmer and all he listened to was techno - trance, breaks.

I can play music as long as its on the radio. If its a cd it doesnt work. dont know why.

I don't listen to music while I program. It breaks my concentration.

Mostly anything with lryics is a distraction. So usually just dance or nature sounds, if anything at all.

I don't know why. Just always have. If i listen to music that I know and like, i'll get distracted. But if it's just some cool beats and shit, it helps me tune out Adrian and Richard talking about gay sex in the office all the time. ;)
