...my car was brought to the shop yesterday finally for the motorswap work to start... i will not see her for another 2weeks while the new race built turbo engine is being installed... i cant wait to bring her home though, its gunna be a very fun 2hour drive... yaay for boost...


anyways its only been 24hours and i already am freaking out with no access to my car.. just gotta go though these kinda days 13 more times and it will be all over until the paint day is ready:winkwink:


anyways, just figured i have the right to brag, who else do you know would drop $6,000 into performance in 3 days on their daily driver street car?:1orglaugh

:( i donno man, just something about cars that gets me, i guess its the one thing i've owned that has been completly mine in which no one else has put a dollar into, and i take alot of pride in that. man i still feel like shit some times to this day for wrecking my first 240, i keep my cars close to me, hell, i make sure that there is still something to this day rolling on the streets from my first car, i kept the lic. plate cover and put it on my new one... lol.. lame but hey, its something i love and will never let go.

as of right now its the stock t28 which will be boosting 6-10psi daily and 15-20psi race/track.

within a years time though i will be upgrading the turbo with either the HKS or the Greddy stageII SR20 kit... it will dyno around 500hp with the hks(or greddy, pretty much the same kit) upgrade

We are actually getting much better numbers for cheaper out of the ka24de with removed butterflies and a stand alone system that makes the motor DLI. The days of the SR20 are numbered once other people catch on.

I was really sad when I put down my first car for major work, then I started buying cars left and right and I STILL have not gotten back to the first Jap car I bought, it is going to be show only for promotion soon *shrugs* what else could an Integra really be used for?

Why didn't you go with an RB swap, they are sometimes much cheaper and way more rare, gives you a bit of prestige and sets you apart from the crowd. Also you could have just used 300zx brakes for a cheaper but just as effective upgrade.

hardly, the sr20 is a powerhouse, made for boost and can handle insaine amounts of power with stock internals, right now Enjuku Racing out of Orlando,FL has a 500+ RPS13 with stock internals on the sr


Aftermarket SR parts are easier to find and cheaper then the RB series, Also i didnt feel like spending alot on RB motormounts to bolt into my s14. Sometimes Cheaper? i havent found a cheap RB anywhere... hell, even the old RB20DET is more expensive then the S13blacktop SR20DET.

as for the 300zx breaks, you are right, BUT... i bought a S14 clip, so the silvia breaks came with it... so its a freebie... + they are bigger then the z32 breaks, z32 breaks = 26mm S14 Silvia breaks = 30mm. so yes, if i were to buy the breaks, z32 is the way i would have gone, but since the silvia breaks came with the clip, and are better, mind as well take em:thumbsup

ahh the old fastback... that was my first love. i had a 92 fastback with a built up KA24DE, that little car was so much fun, you should build one up, leave me your icq or AIM, i want to give you an idea that i was going to do with my s13 before i wreck it... also thanks for the hookup.. we will be in touch.
