I'm thinking of getting a tattoo, but I don't know what. I don't want something that will be defunct in a few years, such as the name of a rock band. I'd like something bad ass, something uh... "cool".

Now this may be a dead topic, but any suggestions?

Depends on how big you want it. A flying eagle on your back would be cool. I've been tempted to get either a purple pentegram on right shoulder or a purple heart on my left shoulder. I either sober up before I get walk in the tattoo parlor or I get too drunk to find it.

A small colorful butterfly etc would be more attractive for a woman to look at. And the more intense ANY tat is, the faster it fades unless you do it jailhouse style in one color. Keep it simple and nice.
