Iraqi Olympic team tells Bush to go fuck himself
Iraqi midfielder Salih Sadir scored a goal here on Wednesday night, setting off a rousing celebration among the 1,500 Iraqi soccer supporters at Pampeloponnisiako Stadium.
"Iraq as a team does not want Mr. Bush to use us for the presidential campaign," Sadir told SI.com through a translator, speaking calmly and directly. "He can find another way to advertise himself." Ahmed Manajid, who played as a midfielder on Wednesday, had an even stronger response when asked about Bush's TV advertisement. "How will he meet his god having slaughtered so many men and women?" Manajid told me. "He has committed so many crimes." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...raq/index.html Bush should run for president of Iraq after he loses the U.S. election in November. :1orglaugh |
Good... Bush is finally getting back what he deserves
|
Can they even use the soccer team in their ads without their permission?
|
THankless prick.
Didn't the Iraqi soccer players suffer beatings by Uday Hussein when they lost soccer matches? |
:thumbsup
|
Fuck Iraq.
|
Fuck Bush

Those guys were tortured like in the Middle Ages if not successful, by Uday Hussein, so they should be more careful when they speak BS rhetoric ...

Fuck You!
|
How in the hell can bush respond to something made in a city called Pampeloponnisiako?

I saw the commercial, and it made me uncomfortable watching it. There are two sides to this coin. The Iraqis have reason both to hate us and like us. The issue is complicated and hate is so much easier when your country is occupied. Bush is just an ass for trying to use it as a political chip. Wait?Bush is just simply an ass. |

There are some movies available on the net of women being shot from behind in their neck and others get their hands cut off etc. in that stadion. |
Four more years!

Exactly. B*ush equals mindless killer. . . . but don't bet Kerry will improve on this situation. |

Different countries, different beliefs and different customs.... Do you think Iraq was the only country in ME tp do this???? Check the Saudis ... They beheaded a princess because she was unfaithfull .... Where is your outcry now??? And yes, that was in Kabul wuith the Talibans.... But for americans, it is very hard to comprehend the difference |
No actually, it was in both countries jackass.
Uday tortured the players when they lost, Taliban had people executed in their stadiums. |
I'm American and I can tell the difference. Uday tortured them in private as far as I know. The Taliban would kill people in public to keep the population scared and abiding their strict Islamic fundamentalist laws. They used the stadium because under their laws playing of soccer was forbidden.

Rolf, fuckin' bush !

I usually never watch sports because I hate watching any and all sports, but for some reason I don't mind watching the Olympics because it's different and special somehow. Anyways, Iraqi soccer team is pretty good, they defeated Costa Rica and Portugal somehow even though I read they had to share their practicing field with grazing sheep :helpme and only get paid $200 a month while some players for Portugal get paid $20 million...

Who is that Mr.Bush?Iraq goalkeeper I guess :glugglug

The rest of the world think he is a total disaster area with a mouth that.. well.. says *something* more stupid each day. Tho.. it must say something about US people - and those who "thought" they elected him.... God bless them if they elect him again - they will need it. |

The problem them may be.. he can't play. How about he gets a job where he can use his mouth where it don't matter and is less embarassing? He can dress up as a cowboy and spout some rhetoric crap to the customers of the candystore in Crawford, Texas... the "original candystore cowboy" where talk is cheap :-) |
soccer sucks.
bush makes me want to puke in my soup and i dont blame the guy for what he said. walk a mile in his shoes ... |

Are they not thinking clearly when they listen to this guy? Every single time he is on his own without any people telling him what to say, he fucks it up. Or he is just saying something that nobody will disagree with, and then pretends it is something that is exclusively republican. And journalists for some reason seem to just accept this. E.g. I recently saw him being interviewed by Larry King, and when Bush's answers were weak, he just moved on without questioning his answer and asking him what he really meant by that. That would never happen in Europe for sure! |
I think bush should move to Iraq and stay there.:winkwink:
