I need to recover some deleted files...

I deleted about 5 gigs worth of video clips off my harddrive a few days ago and would like to recover them if at all possible.

what are the odds i can get them back and what program do i need to get?

Just remember to not install anything on the drive you want to recover files from. ;)

an ex-partner used http://active-undelete.com a couple of years ago successfully to recover wrongly deleted data that a few other programs couldn't.. not sure which version he was using.

No I havent, what would that do to all my recently created files though?
