Another Tip - Check to see if your hotlink protection works
 

My boyfriend just found this site it is called, ironically enough, www.hotlinking.com You can enter a picture URL of a pic you are trying to protect, and if you see a broken image, you're protected. If you see the pic, better work on that .htaccess file!

Just be sure to hit the reload button once you place your image link in there.

Other wise a cached copy shows up....freaked me out! I thought my new protection wasnt working at first!

Wow...this is nice! I don't have to ge thru my OWN pop-up hell when checkin' my images!

I have a question. In my server stats when someone is trying to hotlink my pics, how come it shows that it's still sucking up bandwidth? Shouldn't it show zero?

I have no clue, but I'll bump the question back to the top for ya!
