is this ethical and proffessional?

i got this gallery posted on my tgp this morning http://www3.pimpserver.com/www3/asia...8/index17.html ...
look at the freehost banners...
i thought that pimpservers was run by people who have more than one brain cell...
dammit this is the kind of stuff ruinning our industry...

even if its a phoney pasword site its is making the adult industry look bad and less and less surfers will trust the sites and won't signup anymore....
fuck, i wish there was a licence required to be a freehost and i would burn pimpservers one...
those guys don't deserve to be in the industry....when will people understand that this industry has to be honest and reconquer the trust of the surfers...

Dayum!!!! i'm so freakin mad when i come across of such irresponsible practices...

They were discussing this one on netpond awhile back. Yes, it is real, as well as a real threat. The page you have is not the same page I saw, I think, but same idea and same info.

As for ruining our industry? Well, I don't think so. It is crap that is bound to happen and we just need to work around it.
There is no solution to stop people from putting up sites like that, so we might as well figure out ways to profit from it instead

I don't like TGP's, either, but, seriously, what can really be done about it? Offer good stuff that isn't available in their galleries. "Not available anywhere else" applied to good or hard-to-find material is still a winning formula. It is mostly the "me too" sites which have to worry.

I have a softcore site featuring my own photography/video and nothing else (http://www.girlsdotcom.com), and I get several sign-ups a day because several visitors per day take a look at my tour (60 free downsized pics) and say, "Hey, this is what I'm looking for."

With a fair amount of member retention, a site like this grows and grows, almost without limit. As in any other busines, the ones who realize that putting up a site is a long-term matter, not a quick-bucks thing, will ultimately succeed.
