Do you have Yabb experience?
Anyone here familiar with Yabb?
How was installation, how did it run over a length of time and is it better to just go with a board script like vbulletin. im down for open source shit , have you any experience with Yabb? |
Yabb is alright.. but it doesn't hold a candle to vbulletin or phpbb :2 cents:
|
Better go with phpbb :2 cents:

I can't even think of a board I've ever posted on that was built using Yabb.

I wish more of these board packages were easier to configure. Several of the ones I've seen involve a mass of CSS.
Are there any boards that actually have easy templates to customize without knowing the ins and outs of CSS? |
YaBB rocks, simply as that. It's fast, it's stable, it's easy and it's free. For those claiming for VBulletin or PHPBB, none of them have even half of the features YaBB has, not even closer. YaBB is stronger on its basic install, add some mods, and there's simply no way to compare. I've installed it in no less than 50 sites, the only time I had a problem was because I wanted to do something just to see if it worked and it just didn't... but it still continued working (only that I lost some posts due to what I did)
