how to 'censor' videos?
 

What is the simplest method/program to 'censor' video files?
...ala 'Girls Gone Wild' TV ads.. 'bouncing' black-bars across the boobs... that sort of thing...

I'm hoping for more a sophisticated alternative to just printing static text across the screen.

I know the names of all the major editing software, but haven't bought any of them yet.
(at the moment, I'm leaning toward purchasing Vegas, just because I like the interface.)

you can't go wrong with Vegas, it kicks ass.... there are a few things I don't like but the pluses outweigh the negatives... just whatever you buy make sure you have a nice beefy box for rendering the video files. If you are rendering into mpeg files you need a good PC if you want it done fast.

Also when shooting in the future keep in mind that you will need censored stuff and shoot accordingly .Makes your editing job easier :winkwink:
