Yes there was some problems, yes some people are pissed but calling out for one individual to be fired is beyond me. I was there, I had vip access, I got in as soon as I got off the bus, had drink tickets given to me, and had a blast.

Things I would like to have seen, was the roped off area for VIPs to stay for VIPs, meaning only them should have been allowed to be there all night. If this had been done, as well as someone out front to make sure the vips got in, (no matter what they were wearing) the show would have went 100% better.

They all worked their asses off that I know of and pointing at one person when half the shit that went wrong couldn't have been done any better with her making the final decision.

Yes a lot of people were pissed, but this sounds like someone trying to offer up a sacrifical lamb.

Been friends with Lisa for a while now, and been to many of the events she has helped put together they were a success.

Anyone else out these that knows Lisa and how these things are put togther and are not saying anything should be ashamed of yourselves.

DMoney and Lens both said that a lot of what happened was due to the club and not the actual xbiz crew. Yes it could have been better, there is always room for improvement, but pinning all this on one individual isn't right.

Stephen is a great guy. He's been to almost every Players Ball and has also helped me in the past in making sure guests get in. Trust me, he's had practice helping out the Players Ball door.

I totally agree, I also wanted to add that Giga Chris was working the limos at the hotel most of the night and XBiz Lori was trying to get those egotistical bouncers to let us in. These three people were working the whole night trying to get us in and my many thanks to them.

Poor Media, I felt bad for him but back in the lobby he made out ok, I was with him til about 4, I think puking made it possible for him to continue walking when I could barely keep my eyes open!

If she was the lead in putting on the event she is responsible. She was at the club sitting on her ass according to someone further up the page. When you put on an event you have a good time but your first priority is to the guest you're entertaining. If so many people were having such a hard time then there were some serious problems with setup and presentation. Some very reputable(i.e. not stupid) people have said they had many major problems.

I wasn't there so I wouldn't know, but out of curiousity, was she given carte blanche to set the whole thing up by herself or was there a team *collecting info from the sponsors* on what they wanted & how it was to be presented? If the club did the major screw up, I say sue them or dispute the charges if they were put on a credit card. Weren't there contracts signed?

He told a whole bunch of us that we could not get in the club with shorts on...that was at the hotel lobby. He was freaking out and was telling everyone to go change.
At least he made what was in his range to help !!

If she gets fired (which I doubt), it's not gonna be now but when all this has died down, for an "unrelated" insignificant reason.

This is my line of thinking, even if she wasn't holding hands in the back, I doubt she could have changed the outcome that much. When the club was in charge of the front door and the vips had to pay to get in, that was something you would not have forseen and then after the fact it is too late.

Seems just too easy to blame it ALL on one person. Not when all that has been complained about is mostly the clubs fault. I doubt any of us no matter how big our name was could have changed anything. If the doorman was pushing Lensman away well .... who was working the front door during this and where were they? Was Lisa suppose to be there? Chris, Stephen, Lori?

i didn't goto the party even though they were kind enough to give me a few VIP passes - which i really appreciated and gave to some friends who did go. If there was a mistake what the fuck does that have to do with the other things she does in her job?

This is an issue for Xbiz and Xbiz alone to decide. Calling her out on the boards to be fired is without class. I don't understand why this couldnt be communicated privately. By doing this in such a public manner, it smacks of using this issue as a way to push visibility to your program and your "board persona"

I call bull on that..when you contact a club for a party, preparations are made or should be made with them to accomodate your guests. I've NEVER seen such disorganization than when attending our industries parties.
I haven't been to many shows but the ones I've been to have mostly been the same. People overlook or assume that the club is going to take care of "your ppl"
