Need to find Search Engine optimization/listing service
 

Anybody know of a a good service I could pay to optimize one of my sites for se's and submit to them so I get listed? and how much that would cost?
Been doing it myself up to now with very poor results.
I would appreciate if anybody can point me to the right direction.

Thanks Elvis, for the prompt response, I will look into it. Already use other pay per click services, was looking for the more permanent listing tho...but I appreciate this option, I had not considered Sinfoseek.
Guess I should explain the situation further.
Getting a listing in Altavista is one thing and getting hits from that listing is another story. The site is in Altavista's database but gets a hit from it once in a blue moon http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif
Excite...the same...etc.
Only good listing it has is in Yahoo, it's not the best listing but not bad at all considering I was one of the lucky ones who did not have to pay the $600 it costs now, probably the last adult site that got the free listing. The site gets anything from 200 to 550 clicks from that listing a day (Yahoo keeps moving the category it up and down). Not the traffic I was hoping for from Yahoo but you learn from your mistakes, and I sure did on this one.
I need to improve all other listings and I find that search engine listing and optimization is a complicated science. I have spent hours reading about it on boards and making my own attempts. Am sure there must be someone out there who has this science figured out and can be payed to apply it to get better results.
Maybe am wrong and the only way to go is the pay per click...(?)

Exactly, misterwalrus, I only hear of experiences like yours. I was hoping with this posting to find one or several posts recommending one above any other...sort of was hoping the same reaction towards one service as there is towards good services like Lightning, or Globill, or AP...the kind that others have used and swear by cuz the results were clear as cristal...maybe there is no equivalent in se's submit services http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif Wish there were one or more, I think most of us could use it http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif

yes I have used them and have some good listings on Google AltaVista MetaCrawler msn Lycos and a few more smaller search engines ! There a bunch of good people to work with ! quick e-mail responces and eager to help !
