Paid Hosting Galleries vs Free Hosted Galleries
 

Need everyone's feedback on which they like better and why. I tend to like paid hosting galleries for posting on smaller tgps/moviepost that send around 5k-8k a day. In my experiences paid hosting galleries seem to be alot more effective then freehosted ones

Obviously paid hosting is much better then any free host. When you post a gallery on paid hosting its obvious that there is some sort of investment made on your part to host the site. Plus many webmasters who use free hosts constantly cheat and don't follow rules. And then there are those that use terra.es but I am not going to get into that http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/wink.gif its a sensitive topic

Take a listing on the hun as an example.
He posted the gallery yesterday, and he sent me 53K.
The gallery was on my paid host, and is one that I built a month ago. It didn't perform as well as I had hoped.

I would rather take fewer signups using a free host than the signups I got using a paid host. After the bandwidth bill, I'll come out only a little ahead. With paid hosting it's pure profit on my end. Less profit, but more than on my paid host.

*snicker* The Hun... I posted about 3 galleries there and they killed my server. lol. He can send the traffic, I would never post a site I had hosted on my pay server there again. Well, especially now that I am paying for the bandwidth.
But it was a rush to see 25k hits in about 7 hours hit my site.

Well i'm not really looking to direct my paid host galleries to places like the Hun. thats just insane...getting that much traffic you'd be stupid not to have it on a free host. I'm more interested in smaller tgp/movieposts.

If you have some experience go with paid hosting... you'll make more $ with it
