excuse me letme rephrase that =)D just dont piss anyone off haha. Im not saying to conspire & talk with these guys...just take a dive into the dark underbelly of the internet for a few nights a week. Learn how they do what they do, & use it to protect yourself...just as the guy at grc did. Heres a hint for all you adult webmasters who own site's out there (irc.dal.net) #hackedxxxpasswords. I wrote a script to sit in that room, my program scans many irc hacking rooms for any mention of my site's. Upon a mention of my site, i am notified of such. & hey..you dont have to be an expert programmer =)

Sometimes i think the best adult webmasters out there started out learning how to "NOT GET F*CKED OVER" first...then went on with their global domination plans hehe.

I agree, that's why I chose a guy to maintain my site who is tapped into this stuff pretty well. But he is only able to stay a step or two behind them.

There are people out there who are willing to kill in the name of God, they would have absolutely no trouble trying to put pornmasters out of business anyway possible. So while staying informed gives you an advantage over the guy who isn't, there really is no way to fully protect yourself.

There is absolutely nothing new in that "paper", although it is definitely and interesting read.

all it is, is a DoS attack, they are NOT cracking your servers. Essentially if done correctly, a DoS attack is almost impossible to prevent, and almost as hard to stop once it's started.


This kind of stuff is WAY old news though, IRC servers have been getting hit by things like this 5+ years ago.
