Airline Ticket Purchase Help
I have a friend who needs to leave, BDL (Hartford) to go to ONT (Ontario, CALIFORNIA) on the 23rd of August.
Anyone got any tips for him to get some tickets under $200? One-way. |

That or pick a different airport. $230 is about as good as it gets. |
Does the Greyhound Bus go that way? If it does im sure that would be cheaper. But it would take a long time to get to the destination.

I was looking for him, to bad nothing that early... I guess since its not within 14 days advance purchase. Shit on the 31st and 1st of september is like $104 total for the trip. |
Probably get a standby ticket for fairly cheap, but that sucks balls.
|
AaronM - where did you find that $230 ticket?
I found some shit for $256, and some for $1120 with 3 layovers and total trip time almost 24 hours!!! WTF! |
try
expedia.com orbitz.com travel.yahoo.com |

Sorry, I tried everything, including a few dirty tricks from a previous lifetime. I couldn't get anything for less than $290 :(

Try bookingbuddy.com, it makes it easier to compare prices.
When I was to Orlando 2 weeks ago, with my kids and my wife, we booked our hotel at Travelocity, airline tickets at Priceline (Name your own price), and a rental car at Orbitz. For the hotel, airfare, and a rental car, I think it came out to like $187 per person. |
Is it one way or round trip?
|
one way, ontario is about 10-15min from our apartment, so its better for ONT than LAX (which is like 2 hours then needs a ride)

Flight(s): Mon, August 23, 2004
Total: USD 324.20 Total Estimated Travel Time: 7 Hours and 34 Minutes I just bought him a ticket, cut his travel time down from 15 hours or something like that, LOL. |
