Somethings going on because for the last 2 weeks all I and a webmaster i know in australia are getting is the error page ??

do u know how much money persiankitty.com earn ?
i heard they earn 1.000,000 $ in march or april i forgot.

more power to them if they are making that kind of money... I can not get to there site an error page just keeps coming up.. I have tried for 2 weeks and I know another webmaster that submits to them that keeps getting the same error, so who knows ?

Actually I cannot contects persiankitty.com either.

So its not just me whew ! Anyone know what is happening I have a few galleries back logged to submit to them now.

Well they are purrrrrring like hell over here and sending traffic. What is the error page, what does it say ?

Sounds very much like a routing problem. Check you isp for outages. Are you having any other problems with US sites ?

Run a trace route on the domain, you will then see where it gets held up

not that I am aware of, I will have to check in the morning with the ISP I use. Thanks Susan for all your help... There was one other post that said they could also not log into there site maybe there from Aust. as well ? Where are you and where is the kitty serverd from ? (state)...

When I have the same problem with other hosts, it sometimes helps to use the IP address, bypassing the DNS system. Try http://209.81.0.3/

I had a problem like this 3 years ago. I couldn't reach the server which had some important credit card sales on it (I also sell photography how-to booklets over the Internet). It turned out to be a router problem with SprintNET. When I wrote SprintNET to complain, their reply was basically "(a) You're not our customer so we don't need to answer you, and (b) we're working on it and it'll be fixed when it's fixed."

Not their customer. True, perhaps, but it's like if a delivery truck rolls up and stops on my foot and I ask them to move their truck and their reply is that since they don't have a business relationship with me, they don't need to move the truck.

BTW, I'm always curious when these "router problems" turn up. I THOUGHT the Internet was designed so that a problem in one place would simply be sidestepped with the message being rerouted another way. Another government failure?
