Why the fuck are there so MANY adult webmaster chatboards?
 

Are there really that MANY of "us"? I doubt it. I think GFY and maybe some other 'niche' (ie., they focus on certain webmasters who promote using certain promotions channels) webmaster boards are the real ones. The rest are thinly populated skeletons.

Why the fuck would anyone go through the hassle?

I would think many of these boards are lame attempts to get sponsor cash.

Shit, if I was a sponsor I'd only invest in GFY.

1) Register a domain

2) Install a version of UBB/VB/IV/etc

3) Get a snappy logo for dirt cheap

4) Make 50 fake poster accounts

5) Post 200 threads

6) Run Alexa using Active X installs and other sneaky shit that many of yall pull :winkwink:

7) Get Alexa ranking up. Get all posts up. Hit 1000 threads

8) Issue a press release

9) MAKE BLING BLING and hang out with Snoop smoking some primo Compton rock!

There are so many chatboards because putting a forum up takes very little work,, and us adult webmasters love to copy each other and chase that easy buck.

thats what i sorta like about it cause each board is different you get to meet a lot of new people and make some ill contacts
