Car which had the check engine and oil pressure light
removed. I know this fellow who bought a car and later realized that is has major problems. But when he first test drove it, it was fine, no check engine light, or no oil pressure light came on. Then when the problems started happening. It turns out that the previous owner removed the check engine, oil pressure and ABS lights out of the dashboard.
Why do people do this |
...its not hard to figure out... they were on in the past and instead of having them looked at, he romoved and sold, and you buddy got chumped:2 cents:

It could be a sensor, could be something wrong. They had a thing they can hook up to the ecu and find the exact problem... |

Never trust the idiot lights
I do not even trust them when I know they are working. Always have someone who knows vehicles with you to help ya out, when looking at used vehicles. |
