Why is so hard to get listed?
 

I can't seem to get listed at these three TGP's: JJ's, Snakesworld and Shemp. Anyone else have difficulties getting galleries accepting from these TGP's?

Does any TGP's care which reciprocals you use together with their own recip?

Cable, can you post an example gallery so we can see? Lots of good people here on the board can give you some advice.

Also, some of the bigger TGP's take a while to list galleries since there backed up. How long have you been waiting?

Good tip: go through the links on those tgps & see what others are putting up with their recip. You'll find a pattern if you do a little research.

Also, if you're on a freehost, most of them won't list you.

I've been waiting for over 3 weeks now and I know that shemp and snake list fast so that isn't the problem.

Maybe it's because I use terra.es but I can't afford paid hosting yet.

Nice looking gallery. A few thoughts:

A)expect to get your ass ripped by someone about using terra.es as your freehost. It is now in vogue to call you a "leech" etc. Of course, last year everyone was posting explanations of the Spanish sign up forms, and I don't recall the leech term being used back then.

B)perhaps you are being kicked back because of the odd shaped banner for Teen Goddess? It is small, square, kinda looks like a Thumbnail. I know I would expect it to be declined by a Zilla reviewer, not sure about the 3 you mentioned.

C)Have you e-mailed any of these webmasters? While I do not know them on a personal level, all 3 have been very cool to deal with anytime I have contacted them. Give them a few sample URLs and ask them what could be the reason you are getting declined. I bet they answer you.

Well there is nothing wrong with the gallery and content http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif But... terra will stop you getting listed at some places. Like Redshoe says put it on lightning, most are more than happy with that host.

For your latin account, keep it for the smaller TGP,s and keep a record so you know who takes what.

I would Loose the Terra.es hosting for one...they are cracking down on adult content on their servers.

It's not going to make good with the TGP's if they list you, only to have your gallery's get shut down.

Ive found that once you get listed, it gets easier and easier to get a quicker listing.
I think that maybe they start recognizing your name and galleries.

When I do a gallery, I submit it to 5 big TGP's (more if im not lazy)

99% of the time I get listed with these guys within 24hrs, if not that same day.

Whats cool is that other smaller TGP's will need galleries and list you you as well.

Make your gallery Clean, and USE YOUR OWN HOSTING! It will save you time, and you will make your money back with the signups.

It costs me about $20 a day of me to host my sites and galleries. I average 2 signups a day with TGP posting. (which is a lot less than most people from what I hear)

I look at it this way...30 min of work pays for my monthly hosting, adds a little extra money to my income, and sends about 3k of fresh traffic to my main sites.

I see people always asking..."how does one go about building traffic on a site?" TGP posting is a simple quick way.

I know lightning free is very good and I also have used some adult free hosts, but some TGP's prefer galleries without those headers and footers.
I think I will go for the paid hosting very soon, just need to earn a little more money.
By the way what's a good paid host compared to price and speed?

cable53, are those gallery pics free content from your sponsor? If so, I think that's the most probable reason for your not being listed. The big TGP's get hundreds of submissions each day, many with the same sponsor pics. They try to avoid overused content of this kind and that's why your submission may end up in the garbage bin. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif

Ok I agree with what you say about terra but if their terms say its ok then why not use them for a while. The Hun is still accepting terra sites so I believe. My sis uses a Latin host for small TGP's and keeps them below 10k/day to avoid ringing any alarm bells, if they run over she just pulls the plug on a gallery and stands the loss.


Also, I would not advise anyone to use paid hosting for TGP's unless 1st you have tested the water with the sponsor and made sure your gallery design is working well. My sis keeps 1 sponsor running at approx 2k/hour of shitty TGP traffic 24/7 - the total gallery size is 1.2 MB - this could burn your fingers badly if left unattended. Cop a listing at library of thumbs, amp JJJ and elephant all in one go and you could end up with a big bill.

Even if you are using only free hosting you should not adopt a don?t give a fuck attitude just because your not picking up the BW bill, care should still be taken to ensure you are giving your host and your gallery a fair crack of the whip.

Seriously though, today I got my first Adult Buffet submission ever - and it's pretty shit!

The only tgp that I've never been able to get onto is snakesworld, but we shall see this weekend if luck is in my corner.

Worldsex, hun, jjj, shemp... no problems. But snakesworld is a tough fucka.

Speaking for myself, I don't see any problems with the gallery. I do list terra.es. The only problem you may be having getting listed on my site is the volume of submits I get daily. Since the advent of the autosubmitter, I do over 1000 a day. My cheater list is over 2000 lines long. That weeds out about 500 and I do the rest on my own. I have a lot of different people using terra.es, so the only way to get noticed is by using the same "nick" each time you submit. It is one way I can easily identify the links I want to look at first and these usually get listed daily. I don't really look too much at the content, because every surfer has his own taste, and I don't care what shape the banner is. All I really look for is something that looks half decent. I really don't care if you use the same pics every other day, week, or month. I just look for webmasters who make an effort to make reliable galleries that meet most of my guidelines, and if you meet them all, you get listed faster. It's easier than it may read on my webmasters page.

I got listed by thumbzilla, because I'm getting a few hits, but I can't find my listing anywhere..

By all means, go with paid hosting- When I made the transition 2 years ago, my traffic went up by 500%.
It tells the TGP owners that you are a serious webmaster.
The only way to make money in this business is to treat it like a business.
Hosting bills are overhead - and down the road you will be happy to have some deductions once income tax time rolls around.
