I got a little over $12k to my name and i want to invest some of it to get me going farther.
Should I spend money on just buying top spots on tgps and putting great galleries up there? should I spend money on a paysite?

yeah. im kind of leaning towards the paysite route since thats where lens, quiet, fantasyman, and a lot of the big money people seem to have made their money.

Slowly work things out buying gallery spots ... like 1k at a time . If after 2-3k you cannot make any good money back then stop investing in it and move to something else . ad-words are always good too

The "surest" way to not lose that money would be to invest it on what pays for
your EFFORT: marketing.

Invest as little as you can on WHAT to market, then go and invest on the marketing.

Unless you're experienced in adult, do NOT invest $12k up-front in a single project. YOU WILL LOOSE IT ALL! Instead, pick an area (freesites, TGP, PPC, SEO, etc), invest a little money, put in the all-important sweat equity, make your mistakes, build some traffic and revenue. Then and only then, think about throwing some decent cash at a more ambitious project.

Don't take any advice from someone who isn't more successful than you. So why ask on GFY of all places? Lens isn't going to reach out and give you a handjob. Find someone you know personally that does well investing.

If you don't have experience with adult, you're just asking for trouble spending money on something you know next to nothing about, and could end up losing it all.

That 12k was hard work? Then I'm sure you won't mind doing some more hard work. I have a suggestion for you. Read as much as you can. Webmaster boards, adult and mainstream, business magazines, newspapers, books, everything you can get your hands on. Eventually ideas will start to come to you. The best thing you can do, for now, is invest your time. That investment will pay off, and then you'll understand where to put your money. You still might loose it, but at least you'll understand why. Keep working hard, you have got the right attitude :thumbsup
