Can I get cash from my Epassporte account without the Electron Visa?
 

I've got an epassporte account... My electron visa is on its way, but I don't want to wait for it. How can I get cash TODAY from my epassporte/virtual visa account?

It's kind of an emergency.

no idea if it will work just a suggestion: go to the westernunion website and make a transer to yourself and pay with the virtual cc#

No way really.. unless that Western Union thing works. I hate western union myself.. their fees are way too high. :)

Or get someone to trade epassporte for paypal if you have a paypal card.. or something.

Send someone cash and let them WU it to you. Or send yourself/wife a gift card.

That's what I was thinking... but very few people I know well enough to trust that much have an epassporte account, and I can't get hold of the few I do know.

The gift card's not instant, I think....

BTW, I know we're all supposed to be rich in this biz and not have cash emergencies, but I, um.... left my wallet in my yacht? :1orglaugh

I tried that first... It didn't work. It might work for someone in the U.S., but didn't for me.

If you're in the U.S. you need a US-based credit card; if you're in Canada you need a Canadian credit card. If you're in Canada with a US credit card, they won't do it.

hint, try WU over the phone. It has a shit load less limitations than the site does.

Good idea, but the electron visa specifies that it's for online transactions only... so far I've found that to be true.

Not sure how it is all processed, or even how they would know it was not online. I would reason that WU phone uses same processor as WU site.
