Had to leave Internext early due to Hurricane damage.
 

Just want to say had a great time for the two days I was at the show. Met a ton of great folks, too many to mention here. Thanks to PECash for the dinner invite...great times. MannyZ and I went down but we had to leave, he lives in Punta Gorda where the hurricane hit. The damage to the area is extensive but his wife was fine, thank god. I also live in a county that got hit hard and luckily was further East of my place so no damage.

Thanks to all the Sponsors for the great parties and look forward to seeing everyone soon. If you live in Florida, will be having another Webmaster get together in about a month. Details to follow.

I just rolled into my office this morning and read your post.
I'm glad you and yours are fine, but I'm still worried about MannyZ.
I'm guessing your drive back into the all that damage was rough - I can only imagine from the pics I've seen in the Florida paper and on the news.
I'll get in touch as soon as I get settled in from the show.

I live in central florida... it was in the area of the storm but all we got were a ton of downed trees and power lines. Oh and shingles. How bad was it in Punta Gorda?

Thanks gang, MannyZ is doing good. His wife was shaken up. His house by a fucking miracle is decent compared to the complete devastation of his neighborhood. The pictures on TV do it no justice....looked like Hiroshima. The worst part is when I was driving back up to Tampa area, the stream of ambulances racing north with lights on, 50 to 100 I saw. Thank God, MannyZ and wife are going to pull through.
