Cuz using overture u can only advertise ur own company!

there are ways around this, just create your own site that promotes the sponcer
(run their join page in a frame)

buying from google, or selling to google ??

How is it hard work? I wouldn't do it for a living though.. too much uncertainty..

Admittedly it's easy to lose your shirt if you really don't have a clue.

Just set your daily maximum fairly low while you get better at optimizing your ad to get good CTR from people that might actually buy something.

I am not one of these guys who loses money with PPC SE's, but I can't say i had much success with Ad Words.
Sufficient CTR is one problem and getting the desired volume is the biggest problem.

I've been wary of ebooks, mainly because most ebooks are filled with basic info.

Nope, this ebook has ALL the info that you will need to maximize your income with google adwords, great info. :2 cents:

I think it's just another few MB of hot air like all those shitty ebooks. Luckily Clickbank has such an easy chargeback system :glugglug

Just picked up that googlecash book. I'll let you guys know how it is.

the main thing is to select the right keywords.. if you do, then the traffic is very targetted and you should expect good results :winkwink:

Thats what I do.. most of the keywords I am going after are 3+ words long.

The volume isn't huge, but they convert. :)

I started using Adwords in mid July. So far I have made $1200. I use http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/ to see how many times people searched for stuff, and I use http://www.clickbank.com for things to sell. I haven't had much luck with adult material because others are willing to pay a lot more money per click than me! Once you find a good product and cheap keywords its all good. Oh and I got that google cash book which is pretty good for basics, but its also full of advertisements for other e-books (whick also have ads in them....it goes on and on). Adwords just takes a few hours to tinker with it and figure out what you are doing. :)

I know of some guys that say they spend upwards of $5,000 p/m and more than double their money. I haven't tried it much myself so I'm not sure how possible this is.

My adwords experience is slightly better than brewak even for adult....bit if you set up a decent page you will get bookmarkers who come back and join more than 1 sites.....last week i had a 1:1 ratio and my adwords was turned off for about 3 days....

Adwords makes me right around 10K a month with a bill from google of right around 600 a month not to bad actually.

well you might have to burn through a couple grand before you can get things profitable

Target the niches, and also only use targeted keywords , just go to google and throw some search queries around and you will learn of some untargeted markets :thumbsup

With Adwords when you want to advertise an affiliate product/service, all you need to do is add "aff" at the end of your ad.

Damn and I thought I was doing well :) Do you use Clickbank products or Adult stuff? Just curious. It can be fun to look at Overture's bid tool for things like satellite/direct tv, etc... people are paying like $18 per click!
