I'd LOVE to be around a big storm like that, protected behind 3 feet of glass mind you, to see all the damage and darkening storm.

Did you catch it when the eye passed right over that reporter??? That was intense....damn, talk about a unique life experience.

I sat through 2 of em a few years back when in Pensacola..
Hadn't been a hurricane there in 69 years, then had 2 in about 6 weeks' time..

The eye is kinda neat.. and funny when ya see loads of poeple goin out to pick up branches out of the street.. Apparently not thinkin about the fact that it's comin again, but in the other direction, and usually stronger...

I'm sorry but 3 ft of glass isn't going to stop a street sign at 90mph. Thanks for the link, all my family lives in Florida but we've seen worse than this.

The loss of life is tragic. The cost of rebuilding and the funds could have been used for so many other things! :(
