Getting it down to a science
 

I bought an additional food pantry and a freezer this morning. I am trying to get my shopping down to a science...so that I only have to do major shopping once every two...maybe even every three months. The freezer is supposed to arrive today so tomorrow I will go shopping and stock up with two or three months worth of supplies...food and otherwise. I have also ordered my own home meat tenderizer so that I can tenderize my meats to my satisfaction instead of having to rely upon the unsatisfactory results provided by my butcher.

I could never do that.. defrosted food is alright and all, but I prefer real fresh bread, and a good fresh steak is nice as well. :)

Not to mention.. who wants to eat month old veggies?

Uhmm...I said major shopping. I will still have to pick up...from time to time...milk...bread...etc. as well as perishables...such as fruits...and certain vegetables etc.

Bread, milk and stuff like that I agree.. Can't recall the last veg I ingested.

I do this stocking up technique with paper goods and things that don't go bad already, but this post is like a hermit's dream :)
