Tell us your worst or best Friday the 13th story?
Mine was when I was 30. I had just bought a new Mustang GT and was on the way to the dealership to pick it up. Once I got there the salesperson informed me that I needed 3k more to put the deal together which was not part of the deal. I was pissed, and grabbing an extra 3k sucked, but I really wanted that car that day so I went and grabed it.
I ran to the bank, pulled out 3k, and took it back to the dealership. We closed the deal, got the keys and they pulled up the car. Me and the sales person were standing there watching them pull it up as some kid that was parking cars flew around the corner and smashed right into the side of the car, totally screwing it up. So, they had my 3k and the car was trashed.
It was pretty much just a door smashed so they had a body shop off site and of course planed on fixing the car right then so I would have the car in a few days. While I waited, a tow truck from their body shop showed up. They hooked up the car and the sales guy and service manager gave the tow truck guy instructions. The driver pulled away with the car in tow, he turned left right out into traffic with the car. Two cars slammed right into the rear of the Mustang. The car was totalled. Totally fucking up the car beyond fixing.
So, out the car out the cash, and well.... I filed for divorce that day also after being married 6 years. Not a good day. As you can see, I was more upset about the car then the divorice. hehe
Not had a bad friday the 13th since.
