Anyone elses ICQ ever do this ?

You think it's on, you have the stupid flower icon in your task bar, then you go to pop it open and as soon as your cursor gets near the icon, it disappears.

Who knows when it crashed but at least the icon stays there so I think it's running, there's just no one who wants to talk to me.

ICQ sucks.. be like me and stop using that piece of shit.

Basic_man 08-13-2004 07:56 AM

Nop, my ICQ always worked great..! :2 cents:

pxxx 08-13-2004 07:58 AM

My icq dont really at up like that.

Viper2K1 08-13-2004 08:00 AM

yeah, had that before after it crashed or after i deleted the process

what i hate about this new ICQ is that when you get a message and you're typing stuff (like i'm doing now for this post) you first have to click the website/browser to continue typing

knowing my ICQ looks like a freaking X-mas tree sometimes i get interrupted all the time :(

I have that sometimes with various programs that crash, especially if the error box pops up saying it needs to close or if I have used EndItAll to close a frozen program. The icon will remain in the taskbar until I mouse over it then disappear.

Just uninstall then reinstall.

Fortunately I haven't had any problems with ICQ for a while. It can be very unstable though.

yeah it happens sometimes....
it's a bug

but usually I'd know when it happens as icq should have not responded and closed before
