InterNext under Siege!
1:40AM EST
It's hitting us now. The rain is going by our 28th floor balcony in great HORIZONTAL sheets. The palm trees below are struggling against what feel like 40 mph gusts. The Atlantic is thrashing over the restraining walls and flooding the hotel pool area. Lightning is flashing every few seconds, lighting the clouds in dazzling technicolor hues. May God be with us (pornographers). j- |
Good Luck man :(

No sympathy here...I'm directly in the path...in Brooksville. I'd much rather have my family in Miami. I can't sleep...I live in a mobile home and I keep wandering around and looking at my kids. I keep wondering if this will be our last night in our home, and hoping and praying that I am just being silly for being so scared.
I have to decide whether to take my family to my mother's house, which, while it is at least a block home, is almost 30 years old and not up to today's building specs, or traveling towards Melbourne with my brother and his family in hopes of avoiding the worst parts of the storm. My mom says we will be fine at her house, and my brother says he's not putting his kids in danger by staying, and I have no clue what I should do. And everytime i try to calm down and think rationally, I think about my mom telling me when she was a teenager she went to a psychic who told her she would have two children, but raise three, and she would die in her late fifties in a disaster with thousands of other people. Well, she had my brother and I, and raised her brother when their father died, so you can imagine how freaked out I am. She's 57 now. |

Sometimes you just have to do something, even if it might be the wrong thing. Make the best decision you can, take charge, and take responsibility for the consequences, knowing you did the best you could. If I were you, I'd head for the strongest building around, no matter who it belongs to. Head for the local jail, maybe... they tend to be sturdy.

How freaking hard of a decision can it be?
Get your ass outta the mobile home and check into a hotel. Is the cost of a room worth gambling with your kids safety? |
Hate to tell you guys.... thats not it! haha!
Looks like those storms should be out of there in the next couple hours. Those are storms on the very far outskirts of the actual hurricane. The center of the hurricane is right over the Havana Cuba airport as of right this second 2:10am est. hehehe! I think i should have been weather man! :thumbsup |
where is steven segal when you need him.

Every mobile home park on the coast and in tornado areas should be required to have a large storm shelter :( Too bad they aren't. |

I don't recall ever saying the money for a hotel room meant a fucking thing to me. I said I was going, I just didn't know WHERE I was going. Read, before you bitch someone out, asshole! Edit: I apologize for the hostility. But I didn't deserve yours either. |
just put sand in their pockets..it will weigh them down so the hurricane dont blow them away.
also chain the mobile home to a big tree..you should be fine. |
i hope all u pervertes are stranded with no net connect so i can take all your fucking traffic.
