He wants to know where to buy a car online. Do you know what "ONLINE" means? If he wanted to go to a local dealership, this thread would not exist.

Bought my car off ebay.

I wouldn't ever recomend it unless you find the car on ebay and check it out BEFORE you bid (I know this seems obvious, but at one point, I was not so bright, luckily, I only had minor problems).

JustinF 08-12-2004 09:42 PM

Also, don't forget about autotrader.com

makefuckingmoney 08-12-2004 09:45 PM

I am really just looking to getting the best price, show my local dealer, see what they can do and go from there.

Someone told me not to buy the rims, navigation etc at the dealers..

makefuckingmoney 08-12-2004 09:46 PM

I dont mind having the car shipped. Id prefer to buy within my state, California for taxes etc.

I am not going to buy from ebay. But I think there is some new car buying services that can get some good deals.

makefuckingmoney 08-12-2004 09:53 PM

I just looked and it looks like inifiniti markup isnt that high..i will just go thru dealer.

Plan9 08-12-2004 09:56 PM

I bought my car from autotrader - I'd imagine you could find some reasonable priced G35s there as well. I'd reccomend getting ANY car you are thinking of buying from a private thouroughly checked out at a dealership or speciality mechanic before considering the purchase.

I would never buy a car unless i see it and drive it aleast. Especially if it's used.

makefuckingmoney 08-12-2004 10:05 PM

this would be brand new..i wouldnt buy it used.

JulianSosa 08-12-2004 10:11 PM

We replaced my daughter's car after it was totaled on Ebay. No problems and we sold the totaled one as a salvage. We got 2200 for it when the insurance company recommended a wholesaler who would give us 800 for it.

I actually bought my BMW on hebdo.net :1orglaugh

robfantasy 08-12-2004 11:39 PM

my friend bought a benz online and we went to another state to get it.. when we got there the inside smelled like cat piss

patmccrotch 08-13-2004 12:28 AM

I bought my first Land Rover on ebay.com about 4 years ago. A year later we bought my fiancee a Wrangler. Both times we got a great deal and great cars. Just make sure they have a LOT of feedback regarding car sales.

MicroChick 08-13-2004 12:40 AM

I know people who have bought and sold cars on ebay. They were very happy. Buyers didn't see the cars (used) until they arrived to pick them up. I, personally, would never buy an expensive item from a personal seller on ebay.

Good luck!

If you're just trying to find a low price to bring to your dealer, try checking out bargain.com, they have listings for cheap cars and auctions.

mammy 08-13-2004 02:00 AM

u can find good price online
but u need to check the car offline too
in order not to buy some wrecked shit :2 cents:
