How to install windows xp from the hard drive?
my cd reader is messed up..
luckily i have all the setup files on my hard drive.. NTFS. how can i install windows xp (fresh install) using those files?.. i cant use a boot disk as it can only read fat32 |

go to dos mode and type: d:\winxp\i386\winnt.exe when d:\winxp is where your files are located |
Can probably use something like partiton magic, make a new partition to copy the setup files to, then run the setup from dos and setup xp on the c: patrtition. Dont quote me on that but it should work :thumbsup
