It can't be that effective for pimproll, they should have let it go back to regular GFY for a while. Until this thread I didn't notice that it had changed from realitycash. :2 cents:

25K doesn't sound far off to me - to me it would be worth about the same as 6 months of the banner ads - still alot but less than 25K. but these new launches are looking for sudden impact instant buzz and GFY is the only place that can really offer that so Lensman can ask a premium for that.

The more often the board is skinned, the less valuable skinning will become.

25K seems too high a price for Pimproll's skin, especially right after RealityCash did it.

Jupz said something about it being 25k. You figure that'd be pretty reasonable for a site that gets this much traffic and it to be on every page view. That's reasonable. Considering bandwidth and server upkeep.:2 cents:

If this motivates a few people to fire up some links and give us a try, I'm happy. Damn confident no one will be taking them down anytime soon, if anything they'll herd more traffic. Let the numbers speak for themselves.

This topic cracks me up. It doesn't matter what the cost is....if you are a potential advertisers, you will contact Eric to find out the real deal....and it isn't anyone's business what it costs....the advertiser is only worried about branding and also ROI....if it costs $25K and they make $100K because of it...then it was a great investment. If it only cost $3K and they make $10K from it....still....good investment.

Do you sit and get uptight about the advertisers spending money on your favorite tv show, or how much companies spend on billboards on the side of the road?

Companies see value in placing their money here for exposure....and I have not seen anyone that has advertised here or had a skin complain on the board...so to me, that shows it must be worth the investment, no matter what the cost was.

I guess some people are amazed that if it were $25K for a skin...how a company can afford to do that on what that person probably doesn't make all year in this industry. lol.

Branding and ROI....let the advertisers worry about their budgets and marketing choices.
