Traffic guru's, lay some wisdom on me...
Let's say I start a CJ2 with 5k a day, I set up 5 trades and send them 1k each. Lets assume productivity for a CJ2 is around 50% - so they send me back 500. Their traffic is basically the same as mine, so my script sends them 250 the next day, which I get back 125 for. Then I send 62, they send 31. So in a few days shouldn't my site be down to 5 hits a day?

what you ain't taking into factor is
FRESH TRAFFIC meaning getting traffic that you don't have to owe,,,this is very important in order to increase productivity to you and others you trade with.. ------------------ ------------ Playa icq#38147712 www.NoBSdialer.com |
You're right, I started out with 5k of it then it disappeared. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif
What percentage of a CJ's traffic needs to be fresh to make it grow? I mean lets say a CJ over the 100k a day mark - how could they maintain enough fresh traffic to keep it going? [This message has been edited by Warphead (edited 05-27-2001).] |
Good question warphead I was wondering the same thing.

50% prod? If you have a good design you should have around 120% productivity on your site over all... just add some content to make people click and then your site will grow ... fresh traffic is great to get a boost.. I know people who feed there site with maybe 2k fresh traffic and get up to 100k a day in no time.

Grr.. I had 10k to 15k fresh hits per day but my layout sucket at 70% to 85% (with trades hits, not with fresh). http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif

I'm talking about productivity as measured by UCJ. |
Also xApster, how much content would you recommend in general? I mean say we're looking at a list, what % should lead to content?
