College reality websites. Good or bad?

I have plans to start a site 'wildestcollegeparties.com' which will be similar to collegefuckfest.com and filthyfuckingcoeds.com but spiced up a little to give surfers a new experience. I have been working on a very detailed business plan for the site but I have been somewhat discouraged recently because conversions have been so bad on those two sites I mentioned above. Is it worth the time and effort to start a site like that? Is that Niche done with or does the net just need something new and exciting?

Give me your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc...

I have everything worked out, I just want to know if webmasters are still excited to promote a niche like this.

You need a quality product for sure.
Everybody likes to think their work is truly quality, but most of it out there isn;t :/

Quality is what it's all about. If you build it, they will come; these days are over, it needs to be built well.

Our site, marketing, customer service, affiliate program will all be top notch. Better than CFF for sure but my question still is does this niche still convert?

sworld 08-11-2004 04:16 PM

you forgot us...what the fuck.....either way, good luck...

sworld,
Im curious how you guys got all that TV exposure. Did you guys do it yourself or did you have a publicst hook that up?

BRISK 08-11-2004 05:23 PM

Unless you have $50,000 (minimum) to invest in starting a site of this type, I wouldn't bother.

wtfent 08-11-2004 05:27 PM

I was actually looking at around 35-45K max.

Where is your content going to come from?

wtfent 08-11-2004 05:29 PM

Its all going to be shot in house with a GL1 and XL1

This thread is shit. My guess is everyone is sick of CFF and need something new and exciting to promote. I will bring that to the table. How about the domain, wildestcollegeparties.com, is that good or should I use something else?

MetaMan 08-11-2004 05:35 PM

im sorry to say this, u may do well with it but imo, the problem with adult is few webmasters choose to be creative, this is why we see so many duplicate sites, wouldnt it be better to put funds into a new creative idea that will hit people by storm than to copy what others have already seen.

with so much college teen content floating around dont you think that will affect conversions?

but good luck anyway.

It's not an amazing domain. Too long, and there's something about the word "wildest" that I don't like much.

Solid Fucking Advice. Regurgitating the same crap will eventually become stale if it isn't stale already. May aswell go with something completely fresh/niched while your at it so you can make a bigger impact and have better conversions overall.

and Meta, I didnt know you made serious posts here man...

I did a double take on your nick hehe

Anyway, good shit

:thumbsup

I see what your saying but I have a vision no one else can possibly understand. Im sure you know how that is. I plan to take the niche to a new level.
