I hear this game is getting the best reviews...yet why is it only $19.99 in stores?

It's $19.99 to help them beat out Madden. And from what I hear, it's working. The guys at Best Buy said they're selling 5 ESPN 2K5's for every copy of Madden.

I picked up 2k5 for PS2 last night. It's amazing.

Nice. It works both ways sometimes, though. Sorta like the old car for sale attitude. "If it's so cheap, something has to be wrong with it".

any kid can scrape up $20 so i guess lowering the price like that was a smart move. but, brand loyalty and profits is where madden will win
