Have you seen any shots of the new version of CS that will be boxed and shipped with HL2? I saw some video and it looks awesome.

Nice, but that's not new. I saw a video about HL2 (E3) a long time ago. The animations are wicked. This game is gonna rock.

As long as CS is bundled with STEAM, I will never play it again..

I stopped playing CS because i didn't like the 1.6 one. Then i got more and more work to do overtime, so i just decided to let it go period. That game is very addictive though, and it is great. I might get back into playing a little with the new release.

what engine are they using? would need to see more screenshots before you can say its a better engine than doom 3's.

COD - AA is in essence the same game but much better.
UT2004 & BF are my faves :)

Amazing. Do you think I will be able to run it smoothly on a 2800 mhz with 512MB RAM and a Radeon 9200 256MB graphics card? I thought I had a good system, but somehow I don't see that game running perfectly on it.

how is doom 3 owned? HL2 engine is STILL a step behind, graphics wise. Functionality, well I guess we'll see, cuz it does look promising... but if you wanna talk about 'owned', wait till STALKER comes out. Its gonna rape both doom 3 and hl2 up the ass with a spiked bat dipped in slightly aged vinegar.
