protecting the webalizer folder....
how to protect the webstats folder from unauthorized access ?
i really dont want everyone to see my stats... |
i know it is easy to do it with .htaccess , i just forgot how :)

Just put a statement at the top of the page saying you don't want people reading the stats below..

create htaccess file set it up something like this
AuthName "top secret webstats shhh" AuthType Basic AuthUserFile /full/path/to/.htpasswd Require valid-user create a .htpasswd file and put this in it budz:Vm.85MpoINQa. budz:word to login :) |
budz, but m.b. it'll be more better if he'll use htpasswd executable from apache/iis binary folder?
