how to protect the webstats folder from unauthorized access ?
i really dont want everyone to see my stats...

i know it is easy to do it with .htaccess , i just forgot how :)

Just put a statement at the top of the page saying you don't want people reading the stats below..

I dont really know i need help with it.

create htaccess file set it up something like this


AuthName "top secret webstats shhh"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /full/path/to/.htpasswd
Require valid-user



create a .htpasswd file and put this in it
