Alonzo will take it..

Based on overall performances, I think Gulman (sp?) is in the lead...he has a lot of goodwill, is respected by his peers and has performed consistantly well. He appeals to a general audience, but his humor is also very clever, so he draws in the more "upscale" crowd.

Personally, I'm liking Heffron. His humor is relatively juvenile, but he's the one who consistanly gets an honest, laugh-out-loud response from me. And I think he had the strongest set for the finale.

Bodden was my early favorite, but I really feel he dumbed down his act for this competition. He was remarkably weak tonight - weakest I've seen him, and that's not a good thing when you're coming into the home stretch.

I'll be happy no matter who wins - I think they're all terrific talents, and I do hope they come to a venue near me soon.

It's a 'reality' show with comedians who live in a house together and compete head to head and get voted out.

I think it was rigged from the beginning. The funniest people didn't even make it onto the show.

ah i see - well no doubt we'll see it here in australia .. they'll start showing it 6 weeks after the final in the US - so it will be ruined liek all other reality shows everyone here will already know who wins

Naw, it won't be ruined for ya. This year it was (almost) all good comics and most of them were relatively well known (edited to add - relatively well-known in the US by people who watch stand-up comics). Plus, they gave really bad house, so the only parts worth watching are the approximately 6 minutes of actual standup per show. Set the VCR, skip the ads and enjoy the acts. ;)

He was the funniest last night for sure, but I think it'll go to the Gulman guy. That's just my :2 cents:, I only watched for the first time last night.

I didn't even watch LCS this year. I am a big standup comedy fan but last year really turned me off of this particular show. Where is Dat Phan now? I bet Dave Mordal is probably the only one from season 1 working regularly as a standup comic today.

Easily John Hefron from the get go for me. Dude cracks me up and I dont think he's repeated a single joke the whole time. Although I may have missed a few jokes here and there.
Alonzo is good too, but I dont think Gulman is that funny honestly.. just doesnt relate maybe.

Ralfy was the clear winner last year to me.
That also turned me off bad when that unknown guy somehow got the votes.. Dat who? What did you call me? lol.. he repeated every damn joke 100 times, and they were never that good.
