ICQ: I must be on the contact lists of close to 600 women in their 20's now
 

Seriously. I get a system notice about every 2 days saying some girl just added me to her contact list. "She" is always from the USA, "she" is always aged 20-27, names like...

etc etc etc.


I never add them to my list. I'm not sure how adding me to their list could benefit them, or it, in any way. Any idea why she/they/it does it?

Those are all me. Instead of just having one login with my real age, I'm going to combine a bunch of them :)

That's now I know how old they are and what their names are etc.

Come to think of it, sometimes you hit "details" and it comes up blank, with a little alert box that says something like "contact info not available".

I never add any of them to my list. Ever.


They used to have a way of automatically causing my ICQ to add them to my list, but I guess ICQ put a stop to that flaw, because it hasn't happened in quite some time now. THAT was some pretty annoying shit. My blocked user list is massive.

There is always a link to a cam site. It is just more and more ways that some people out there are trying to get their spam across.

I just wasn't sure how it benefited them at first, because I couldn't see why anyone would add them to their list. I guess some guy's think it's a real chick and do it though thinking they'll get some.
