I'm damn glad I've never smacked one of these bad boys during all my travels across the tundra. Seen plenty of them though, thankfully they were always in the ditch or off in the bush.

Yeah, hitting a moose would be scary - I've had a few close calls back when I used to live up north in New Brunswick - I remember actually driving along a road and looking to my left and there was one in the lane next to me running next to my car.

A fully matured bull moose can weigh upwards of 2,000 lbs. And they're all muscle.
