I'm damn glad I've never smacked one of these bad boys during all my travels across the tundra. Seen plenty of them though, thankfully they were always in the ditch or off in the bush.

That is some scary shit. He split the top of the car. That's crazy.

MetaMan 08-10-2004 08:15 PM

the elephants in Alberta is what u need to watch out for.

AndrewKanuck 08-10-2004 08:16 PM

Yeah, hitting a moose would be scary - I've had a few close calls back when I used to live up north in New Brunswick - I remember actually driving along a road and looking to my left and there was one in the lane next to me running next to my car.

Freaky shit

Spunky 08-10-2004 08:18 PM

sickkittens 08-10-2004 08:18 PM

My uncle and myself came pretty close to nailing a big male fucker leaving Jasper at 4am.

Martin 08-10-2004 08:32 PM

MT_Butterfly 08-10-2004 08:32 PM

Dang! That's what I was talking about. I imagine at least the driver suffered some major injuries...that's some scary stuff.

Living in Canada is something else... I actually made spaghetti sauce with ground moose once.

BruceM 08-10-2004 08:36 PM

I would think the driver must have been killed.

I've got ground moose in my freezer right now.

I love moose meat. Leanest meat on the planet.

iwantchixx 08-10-2004 08:54 PM

That cow probably weighs in at over 800 lbs right there.

A fully matured bull moose can weigh upwards of 2,000 lbs. And they're all muscle.

CBytch 08-10-2004 08:59 PM

That's pretty bad although I've seen worse. You should see the damage they can cause on a tractor trailor, they can smash the whole front end in :Oh crap
