NEW ORLEANS - A suit brought by two Louisiana women against rapper Snoop Dogg after their breast-flashing pictures were used on a cover of the video series "Girls Gone Wild" has been settled.


Terms of the settlement, which was approved last month by U-S Magistrate Sally Shushan and signed off on by U.S. District Judge Robert McNamara, were not revealed in the court record.

The suit also named Joseph R. Francis, the owner of Mantra Films, which has produced the series of mail-order videos that feature nudity and sexual activity.


Plaintiff attorney said he could not discuss the settlement. Attorneys for Francis and Snoop Dogg -- whose real name is Calvin Broadus and who was host of the video -- did not return calls.


Jaime Capdeboscq, who was 17 at the time the pictures were taken, and Whitni Candiotto, who was 18, claim that Francis broke a promise that the picture would not be used in connection with the video. When the video -- known as "Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style" -- came out, the woman found their pictures on the cover.


The pictures were taken during a party for Snoop Dog at a New Orleans hotel in 2002.
