What Screen Resolution do you use on your sites?
I've always used 800 x 600 but recently switched over to 1024 x 768. I've had a couple people tell me that there are horozontal scroll bars on their screens even though they have their screen resolution set to 1024 x 768.
Maybe I should just go back to the traditional 800 x 600. What do you use? |

A lot of my surfers are still on 800x600 so I shoot for that. I use 1024x768 on one monitor and 800x600 on another so I can see how it looks in both resolutions. Or else I do it the lazy way and use Resolution Checker to check it.

I make tours with 800x600 in mind. The members are I use a percentage to make up for it.

I agree, 800x600 seems to make everyone happy. I did some sections of my site at 1024 at beginning of the year and a number of users bitched.
I think a lot of people do not like to maximize their browser. |

1280 x 1024, works fine here

I just keep the simple rule:
Surfers = fit for 800x600 Webmasters = fit for 1024x768 Allthough I think that within a year or 2 it is pretty safe to go with 1024x768 for everybody. |

8x6 is still the standard unfortunately. To fit in most major browser windows, I play safe with 750-757 wide.

i use 800*600. its common.

800x600 here too. Anything higher and some things are almost unreadable. I guess it depends on your video card.
