The origen of Boneprone with apologies.
 

I have a confession to make to you all. There is no Boneprone. Years ago I kidnapped a group of eastern european scientists and forced them to develop a computer virus with AI to do my bidding. Boneprone is the current manifestation of this hybrid.

After destroying all the evidence of my evil deed I set him loose on the net to make me rich and annoy people. The reason there is often confusion as to Boneprone, bone prone, dank, sweet jimmy, etc... is whenever he is stressed the AI is programmed to replicate itsself and carry on my evil bidding. This is the origin of the "boneprone family".

Those of you who think you've spoken or met with "the real Boneprone" are mistaken. Using brainwashed out-of-work actors and voice synthesizers I've fooled you. Fools.

At some time in the future the original Boneprone will sign over all of his earthly holdings to me then destroy my enemies. After which he will erase his own code. However the replicants he's created will go on until such a time that they too have outlived their usefulness, thus creating an empire in pepertuity.

I make this confession to clear my own conscience for the pain and confusion I have caused you all. Unfortunately by reading this you have made yourself a danger to me and my boneproneclones, so you too will eventually have to be destroyed. I apologize in advance for this inconvenience.
