its the most mentally disturbing thing ive ever experienced.

2 year olds don't necessarily have to be potty trained. You have to wait for their bodies to give "the signal" My niece wasn't ready until she was about 2 1/2. If the child has any kind of stress (new people in their life, bedroom change, etc.) it may take longer.
