They already do that scam in Toronto.

The passes don't get you sweet fuck all at the trendy clubs. The ones they work in are out of fashion, and you don't need a card to get in.

The papers recently have run stories about the scam, so most people know about it.

Tera 08-10-2004 01:34 PM

Toronto is NOT on there!

Toronto has huge nightlife

dirtysouth 08-10-2004 01:44 PM

They were doing that in Houston years ago. Out of curiosity what does the club get out of it? My partner owns a high-end martini bar.

I don't know what someone was doing in Toronto... but I don't see how my business can be a scam????

We enter into a contract with each sponsor... they offer a discount to our card members.... each sponsor and their discount will be listed on the website.

If a sponsor does not uphold their discount then we remove them simple as that.

We also are will not sell cards in each city until their are enough sponsors in that city to make the card worth its value.

Toronto isn't on the list because we have to start somewhere and I figure 57 cities in the U.S. is a good place.

But yes we do have plans to expand into Canada, Mexico and other countries as we grow.

grumpy 08-10-2004 08:41 PM

thats unreadable. Light grey on grey. Good idea but your site need some redesign.

Potential customers that would have never gone there otherwise.

Free mass marketing to their targeted audience.

The ability to sell the card for a 50% split to recoup a percentage of the dollar lost on their discount.

A branded name to our card members as one of the hottest places to go.

Since we are going national... out of state business. The card can be used at any sponsor in any state at anytime.

There is much more.... tell your friend about the site.

rayzor 08-10-2004 09:01 PM

interesting idea.

about it being a scam -
i think it would only be a scam if you sold the cards with a fake list of sponsors.

you'd need to know some pretty powerful people to get this project off the ground
:2 cents:

good luck! :thumbsup
