Air Purifier Systems / Ionizers

Just installed some in my offices. These things work really well to charge the air with freshness from the ionizer and keeps the place smelling nice if any of your people smoke.

they definately work. I feel more awake when its on. Cleaner air means a better workspace.

I had an awesome one a few years ago that was shaped like a pyramid. It used to extract the dust particles from the air and place them on a filter sheet. I would change it every day and be amazed at the amount of crap that it took out of the air in one day. When I can find another one as good as that I will buy it. :thumbsup

i need to buy a good one just for dust, not smoke since i dont let anyone smoke in my house. do you have any good links?

Vitasoy 08-10-2004 02:19 PM

It's too bad that more companies don't care about the people that work for them, the outsourced ones that work in miserable conditions for example.

all things now need to be purified, before water, now air, whats next? sunshine stabilizer?

jojojo 08-10-2004 02:51 PM

I need one for smoke and dust that sucks it out of the air - my allergies get real bad in this small office any recommendations for a small room that is really strong and sucks it in?

what is the deal with ionization?

I had the sharper image one I just had to take back because it broke. My girl didn't dig them, but I think they were great for allergies.

We already need to protect ourselves from direct sunlight (ie the health advisories to always have sunscreen/uv block on exposed areas at all times of year)....the effects of not heeding to these warnings just aren't as obvious as breathing bad air or drinking polluted water is.
