Its a scam i get them all the time
the easiest way to tell is mouseover all the links

if it's fake it always has proxy server adreess

also ebay and paypal never ask you to submit your password via email

i get these everyday - some sayign they are from ebay UK LOL - i live in Oz :1orglaugh

Is this real or is it fake?

Check the source code of the message and see if the links actually point to ebay. Sounds fake to me. I wouldn't just mouseover in case they are using that hack that can spoof IE into displaying the wrong url. I'm not sure if Microsoft fixed that in a windows update or not.

If they included a link in the message, post the URL here. (Remove your username if it's there).

If there was no link in the message, it's real.
