Several very hot Mercedes products in that price range.
I lust after whatever the new small AMG convertible is...SLK55 or whatever it is. |
Is this even a question? M5 for sure! :Graucho

Why not get a classic car instead of a new one?
|
I'm getting a CLK this week too.. but not convertible and clk 320.
|
ummm i'd go with either the CLK or an M5
both are excellent choices |

Why not go for a new 'old' car. A totally restored GTO, Shelby or MB Coupe, will not only keep the price you paid, but also it'll be much more interesting than that generic massed produced crap and you'll get more (nice quality) attention. And for some reason, nobody keys/scratches an oldie. :)

If you're going to spend that kind of money on a car (utterly ridiculous, IMO, but that's just me) buy a car you will love, love, love. Who cares what other people suggest. If you don't KNOW in your heart of hearts that she's the car for you, well, is it really worth it? Are you sure you'll feel the same way three months, six months, a year down the road? And if you don't, how easy will it be to replace her? Will you be able to make a clean break, or will you stick with her out of a sense of responsibility, your resentment growing with each day?
If it's the real thing, you'll know it, man. Trust me. *remembers the '67 Mustang she never embraced, because Daddy said he was no good...* |

MB CLK 500= Gentleman's hotrod
http://grandee.no-ip.info/ACA_BMW7Series_probs.wmv (this link is going to be slow, can't remember where i orginally got it if anyone can post that link much appreciated!) BMW's aren't usually as nice as a Mercedes, and usually arn't as reliable.....Mercedes will also be coming out with a 600hp e65 to take on well anything pretty much. |
I will say the BMW's are a good call. M5 could be the best all around car on the planet.
